HEARING FROM HEAD COACH MARC LONG
“This was a big jump up from last year’s finals. Overall it was a solid night and tomorrow we’ve got some great events. We loved to see Allyssa [Fluit] and Hannah [Burvill] compete so well together and get on the podium like that after coming in and being great friends for four years. Their freshman year they were deer in the headlights, and I think for some as the meet [and the years] go on, you see people settle in. These are some of the fastest times in the world and everyone has come a long way to be here.”

HEARING FROM SENIOR ALLYSSA FLUIT
“Hannah and I both know what we’re capable of. We knew we would go fast and it motivated both of us to do well. I was proud of myself and of us. To make that ‘A’ final is very hard but to move to fourth and score big points for the team was really nice. To get on the podium right next to each other was a great moment for us. Tomorrow I want to make good memories with my last day with the team and finish strong.”
