HEAR FROM HEAD COACH JEFF GARBUTT
“The team did an amazing job today. The goal has been to get as many boat into the A finals as we could. The 2V8 had an amazing come from behind performance to secure a spot in the A final. Our first in the new era of B1G. The 1V4 missed out by .17 which was a heartbreaking result but such an amazing effort from them. the 3V4 and 3V8 both missed out by less than a boat length. The grit and determination shown today shows that the women of Iowa are all about. We will regroup tomorrow and prep to go out and beat our seeds in all events. The way this team competed should make all Hawkeye fans proud! The staff has done an amazing job preparing their crews and I can't wait to see them all race on Sunday in the finals! Go Hawks!”
