2015 — Indoor – placed second in 3,000 meters at Husker Invite (9:55.33), running event at Big Ten Championships (9:56.62)… placed ninth in mile at Big 4 Duals (4:59.00) and fifth at Border Battle (5:02.79)… Outdoor – ran 1,500 meters at Baldy Castillo Invite (4:33.98)… letterwinner.

2014 — Track – did not compete… Cross Country – ran season-best 5,000 meters at Notre Dame Invite (17:54.8)… team earned USTFCCCA all-academic honors… academic All-Big Ten.

2013 — Indoor – placed ninth in 3,000 meters with a collegiate-best 9:47.63 at Iowa State Classic… placed fourth in mile at adidas Classic (4:58.04) and 29th at Meyo Invite (5:02.22)… Outdoor – led team in 1,500 meters (4:29.16) and 3,000 meters (9:42.19)… ran second leg on team-leading 6,400-meter relay that placed fourth at Drake Relays in 19:41.15… that time ranks sixth all-time at Iowa… placed 10th in 1,500 meters at Big Ten Championships (4:34.94), running a collegiate-best 4:29.16 in the prelims… placed eighth in 1,500 meters at Alabama Relays (4:36.02), won race at Lee Calhoun Invite (4:36.11) and placed fourth at Jim Click Shootout (4:37.85)… placed third in 3,000 meters at Musco Twilight XIV (9:42.19)… Cross Country – placed 30th in 15:02.06 at Iowa Black & Gold Invite (4,000 meters)… team earned USTFCCCA all-academic honors.

2012 — Cross Country – ran collegiate-best 4,000 meters at Toledo Bubble Buster (14:17), which ranks 10th all-time at Iowa… also competed at NCAA Midwest Regional (6,000 meters-22:45), Big Ten Championships (6,000 meters-22:21) and Bradley Open (3 miles-17:56)… team earned USTFCCCA all-academic honors… letterwinner… Dean’s List.

High School — four-time cross country team MVP and all-conference honoree… 2009 regional cross country champion as a sophomore… three-time all-state honoree in track and field… 2012 conference runner-up in the 1,600 (5:06)… school record holder in the 800 (2:17), 1,600 (4:55) and 3,200 (10:46)… school record holder in the indoor 1,600 (5:04)… holds the school’s cross country course record (3k, 17:39)… was named team MVP of 2012 track and field state championship team.

Personal — born Sept. 13, 1993… parents are John and Barbara Gordon… has two sisters, Julie and Tricia… high school coach was former Hawkeye Stetson Steele… member of the National Honor Society.
