#21 Makenna Maguire Season 2018-19

2021 – Saw action in 15 games, logging 187 minutes… finished with one goal on eight shots (six shots on goal)… scored in Iowa’s 10-0 win over Saint Louis (9/12).

2020 Honors — Academic All-Big Ten. 2020 — Played all 18 games… scored goal against Michigan State (3/28).

2019 Honors — Named to NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad. 2019 — Saw action in all 22 games… recorded her first collegiate goal and an assist against Central Michigan (9/6).

2018 Honors — Named to NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad. 2018 — Saw action in 16 games… recorded her first career assist in Iowa’s 7-1 victory over Ball State (9/2).

High School — Three-time all-conference and two-time all-state selection at Rumson Fair Haven Regional High School… registered 50 goals and 55 assists in her high school career… four-time Shore Conference champion and two-time Group 2 Central champion… high school team captain as a junior and senior… member of the Xcalibur field hockey club for five years… participated in varsity lacrosse and basketball… member of National Honors Society and Spanish National Honors Society.

Personal — Comes from a family of collegiate field hockey players: Mom, Kathy, and Aunt Kelly played at UNC, Aunt Lori played at Northwestern, and sister, Madison, currently plays at Maryland.
