Susie Stralina Season 2009-10

2012-13… Competed in two fall events… placed second in the 1V8+ at the Head of the Des Moines… placed eighth in the 1V8+ at the Head of the Iowa… competed in all three spring events… qualified for the 2V8+ petite finals and placed second at the San Diego Crew Classic… placed second in the 1V8+ and helped team take home second place in the team standings at the Dale England Cup… placed sixth in the 2V8+ and helped team take home sixth place in the final team standings at the Big Ten Championships… Named to the 2012-13 Dean’s List… letterwinner.

2010-11… Competed in all three fall events… qualified for the petite finals in the 1V4+ and 2V8+ at the Head of the Oklahoma… competed in all five spring events… recorded three first place finishes and one second place finish in the 2V8+ at the Longhorn Invitational… advanced to the petite final at the San Diego Crew Classic in the 2V8+ and placed second… claimed second place finishes at the Big Ten Duals and East Coast Race… competed in the 2V8+ at the Big Ten Championships… named to the Academic All-Big Ten team… letterwinner.

2009-10… Competed in two fall events… raced in the 1N8+ at the Longhorn Invitational… qualified for the grand finale in the 1V4+ at Central Regionals… letterwinner.

Before Iowa… Member of the National Honor Society… two-time academic letterwinner… highest honor roll member…achieved perfect attendance all four years of high school.

Personal… Born December 15, 1990… daughter of Dennis Maureen Stralina… integrative physiology major and psychology and health promotion minor… lists her brother, Michael, as the most influential person in her life.
