The Hawkeyes finished the 2024 season strong, performing well at the Bradley Pink Classic, where the men placed third and the women finished 10th. The team also had consistent results at the Gans Creek Classic, with the women placing 12th out of 38 teams and the men finishing 13th out of 35 teams.
The University of Iowa men’s and women’s cross country teams wrapped up postseason competition on Friday at the NCAA Midwest Regional. The men placed 13th with a score of 389 points, while the women finished in 17th place with 478 points.
University of Iowa men’s and women’s cross country heads to Peoria, Illinois, for the NCAA Midwest Regional on Nov. 15. Bradley University will host the event at the Newman Golf Course. The women’s 6,000-meter race begins at 11 a.m. (CT), with the men’s 10,000-meter to follow at 12 p.m.
