Junior College (2013-15) — Started all 31 games as a sophomore at Southeastern Community College his sophomore year… also excelled in the classroom earning Academic All-American laurels, and members of the All Iowa Academic Team and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
High School — Helped Danville High School post a 103-5 record during his four-year career (2009-13), including 27-1 records his sophomore, junior and senior seasons, four conference titles and two state runner-up finishes… one of four players in Iowa history to amass over 1,500 points (1,684) and 500 assists (580) as a prep athlete… school record holder in career assists (580) and steals (307), single-season assists (207), singlegame free throws (17-of-17), and consecutive free throws made (37)… his 580 assists rank eighth in Iowa prep history… 2013 first-team all-state, all-conference, all Sub-State, All-Hawkeye Newspaper honoree as a senior averaging 20 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, and three steals leading his team to a conference title and third place finish at the Iowa 1A state tournament… 2012 Class 1A Co-Player of the Year and All-Hawkeye Newspaper Co-Player of the Year, first-team all-state, all-conference, all Sub-State, and all-state tournament team honoree as a junior averaging 18 points, six rebounds, six assists, and three steals leading his team to a conference title and runner-up finish at the Iowa 1A state tournament… averaged 17.5 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals while earning second team all-state and first-team all-conference, all Sub-State, All-Hawkeye Newspaper, and all-state tournament team accolades on a team that won its conference title and was runner-up at the 2011 Iowa 1A state tournament… averaged eight points, four rebounds, and four assists in leading team to a conference title as a freshman in 2010… never lost a home game during his high school career… four-time team captain… co-salutatorian, academic all-state (2013), two-time academic all-conference (2012 and 2013), earned the Presidential Award for Excellence in 2013 and was a member of the National Honor Society (2011- 13).
