High School — All-State second team and team captain as a junior… member of Iowa City West High School’s team that won 20+ games all four years, including winning the 4A Iowa State championship as a freshman and runner-up honors as a sophomore… also competed in track & field (sprints, relays, high jump and long jump)… member of the distance medley relay team that broke the school record… competed in the Drake Relays and placed second in the state competition.
