2024-25 Honors — Academic All-Big Ten. 2024-25 — Saw action in 26 games, averaging 3.2 points and 1.1 recounds... also had 13 blocks and 14 assists... shot 76.7 percent from the field, making 33-of-43 attempts... averaged 8.8 minutes per game, playing double-digit minutes in 10 of the final 12 contests... scored a season-high 15 points on 4-of-4 shooting and went 7-of-9 from the free throw line against Oregon (2/19)... finished with seven points and a season-high five rebounds against Michigan State (3/6)... averaged 5.5 points and 1.8 rebounds over final 12 games, making 28-of-33 field goals (84.8 percent).

2022-23 (Belmont) — Started 29 of 30 contests… averaged 7.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and a team-best 1.4 blocks while shooting a team-best 58 percent from the floor… netted double figures 10 times, pulled down double-digit rebounds five times and posted four double-doubles… registered 18 points and 12 rebounds versus Illinois State… 12 points and 11 rebounds versus Evansville.

2021-22 (Belmont) — Appeared in 31 games, including one start… had a career-high 19 points, seven rebounds and three steals versus Bethel… totaled six points, three rebounds vs. SEMO… had six points and three rebounds versus Tennessee Tech… five points, five rebounds and three blocks at UT Martin… four points and six rebounds versus Tennessee State.

2020-21 (Belmont) — OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… totaled 119 points, 65 rebounds, 14 blocks, eight assists and three steals in 30 games… had 10 points versus UT Martin… nine points and five rebounds at UT Martin… eight points and four rebounds at Tennessee Tech… eight points versus Queens… seven points versus Eastern Illinois… six points and three rebounds at Eastern Illinois… six points and seven rebounds versus SIUE… four points and three rebounds at TSU.

High School — Four-year letterwinner at Iowa City West High School for head coach Steve Bergman… ranked No. 2 prospect in the state of Iowa Class of 2020 by ESPN.com and 247Sports… 2020 Iowa Print Sports Writers Association All-State… Des Moines Register All-Iowa and Cedar Rapids Gazette All-Area basketball team honoree in 2020… McDonald’s All-America nominee… team captain… led Iowa City West to 22-3 record as a senior… averaged 15.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game as a senior… averaged 11.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game on 68 percent shooting from the field as a junior.

Personal — Pronounced Evan… born Jan. 16, 2002… son of Randy and Mary Brauns… has two siblings, Christian and Rhys… took part in  mission trip to Unalakleet, Alaska in May 2022… majoring in interdepartmental studies.
