2008 — Indoor – led team in 3,000 meters (8:15.70)… that time ranks sixth in school history… placed 13th in 3,000 meters (8:31.14) at Big Ten Championships… Outdoor – all-region honoree, placing seventh in 3,000-meter steeplechase with a collegiate-best 8:57.54 at NCAA Midwest Regional… that time led te4qam and ranks fifth in school history… named Big Ten Athlete of the Week April 8 after winning steeplechase at Tiger Classic (9:03.85)… runner-up in steeplechase at Big Ten Championships (8:58.21) and Sun Angel Classic (9:01.20), and placed sixth at Drake Relays (9:05.50)… ran collegiate-best 1,500 meters (3:56.44) at Musco Twilight X… won 1,500 meters at Hawkeye Invite (3:57.14)… academic all-Big Ten… letterwinner…Cross Country – ran collegiate-best 8,000 meters (23:56) at Auburn Invite… that time ranks seventh in school history… placed 57th at NCAA Midwest Regional (32:37) and 48th at Big Ten Championships (25:38)… also competed at Roy Griak Invite (25:37) and NCAA Pre-Nationals (24:50)… academic all-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2007 — Indoor – led team in 3,000 meters (8:23.75)… placed 12th in that event at Big Ten Championships (8:27.54)… ran season-best mile (4:19.69) at Iowa Invite and collegiate-best 5,000 meters (14:40.48) at Cyclone Classic… Outdoor – qualified for NCAA regional in 3,000-meter steeplechase… placed fifth in that event with a season-best 9:06.65 at Big Ten Championships… won steeplechase at Central Open (9:19.11) and Musco Twilight IX (9:22.79), and placed 12th at NCAA regional (9:17.85)… placed 16th in 5,000 meters (14:42.77) at Drake Relays… academic all-Big Ten… letterwinner… Cross Country – placed 33rd with collegiate-best 31:08 at NCAA Midwest Regional… placed 37th (24:55) at Big Ten Championships… ran season-best 8,000 meters (24:44) at NCAA Pre-Nationals… won Hawkeye Open (25:02)… placed fifth at Early Bird Invite (26:07) and eighth at Loyola Lakefront Invite (25:03)… academic all-Big Ten… team earned USTFCCCA academic all-America honors… letterwinner.

2006 — Indoor – placed fourth in two miles (9:11.88) at Hawkeye Open… Outdoor – did not compete… Cross Country – led team at Hawkeye Open, placing fifth in 18:50, which ranks eighth in school history… placed 58th at Big Ten meet (26:07) and NCAA regional (32:38)… ran season-best 8,000 meters at Pre-Nationals (25:32)… placed 109th (26:23) at Roy Griak Invite and 242nd (35:01) at NCAA Championships… academic all-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2005 — Track – redshirted… Cross Country – placed 28th at NCAA regional (31:56) and 37th (25:36) at Big Ten Championships… ran season-best 8,000 meters (25:20) for 18th place at NCAA Pre-Nationals… placed 114th (31:25) at NCAA Championships… academic all-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2004 — Cross Country – redshirted.

High School — placed fourth at state cross country meet senior year… won conference titles in cross country and 1,600 meters senior year… four-time all-conference and two-time academic all-conference in cross country and track… two-time all-regional and all-sectional in cross country, earning all-state honors as a senior… two-time team MVP and captain in cross country… four-year high honor roll student, graduating with honors… coaches were Dave Judson, Norm Hahn and David Bradley.
