Thomas Reynolds Season 2009-10

2010 – Indoor – earned a collegiate-best in the weight throw at the Iowa Invite (46-10 3/4, 14.29m)… Outdoor – threw a collegiate-best discus at the Lee Calhoun Memorial, placing fourth at 162-4 (49.49m)…threw a collegiate-best hammer toss at the Lee Calhoun Memorial (144-6, 44.05m)…placed third in the discus at Musco Twilight XI (162-0, 49.38m) and fourth at the Iowa Invitational (155-3, 47.32m)…letterwinner.

2009 — Track – redshirted… placed 13th in the men[apos]s discus (168-11) at the USATF Outdoor Junior National Championships.

High School — won state discus (191-10) and shot put (57-0) titles as a senior… also won discus (191-0) and placed third in shot put (54-8 1/4) at 2008 Drake Relays… placed third in discus (175-4) at state meet junior year… two-time elite all-state, national qualifier and conference champion… team won three conference and one state title… set indoor shot put school record (56-10 1/4)… placed 11th in discus (173-0) at 2008 Nike Outdoor Nationals and 15th (166-0) in 2007… lettered two years in football, earning first team all-conference honors at defensive end… coached by Brian Martz and Brad Wymer.
