High School — Two-time team MVP for the Tri-County high school track team… State qualifier in the 4×100, 4×200, shot put and discus in 2009 and 2010… placed first in the 4×100, 4×200, shot put and discus at the conference championships in 2010… member of the school record holding 4×100 team that recorded a 43.8 race… placed first in the 2009 conference championships in the 4×100 and 4×200 events… four time letterwinner as the football quarterback… three-time all-district baseball selection from 2008-2010… three sport all-state academic selection… member of the student council… class President… member of the National Honor Society.

Personal — Born January 30, 1992… son of Roger and Margie Thomas… has one sister, Katie, and one brother, Tyler… both siblings are throwers on the St. Ambrose University track and field team… biology major… high school coach was Bill Cox.
