2008 — Track – redshirted… threw season bests in discus (166-6) and shot put (54-9 1/2) at Musco Twilight X while competing unattached.
High School — state shot put champion (59-7) and discus runner-up senior year… two-time Drake Relays champion… four-time conference champion… six-time all-conference and all-metro… set school shot put record (61-1)… best discus mark was 183-2 in discus… coached by Bill Swartz and Jeff Moeller… lettered four years in track and two in football… two-time track team captain and one-time football team captain… high honor roll award winner.
