2012 — Indoor – posted collegiate-best weight throw (57-4 3/4, 17.49m) at Iowa State Classic… that mark ranks 10th all-time at Iowa… placed fourth in weight throw at Adidas Classic (56-2 3/4, 17.14m), fifth at New Year’s Classic (56-4, 17.17m), seventh at Iowa Invite (55-9 1/4, 17.00m) and 17th at Big Ten Championships (57-2 1/4, 17.43m)… placed 10th in shot put at New Year’s Classic (47-0 3/4, 14.34m) and 15th at Iowa State Classic (49-1 3/4, 14.98m)… Outdoor – placed second in hammer at Arkansas Spring Invite (191-2, 58.26m), third at Tom Botts Invite (192-5, 58.66m), seventh at LSU Invite (192-4, 58.63m) and 24th at NCAA West Preliminary (191-7, 58.40m)… academic All-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2011 — Indoor – posted season-bests in shot put (50-0, 15.24m) at Iowa Open and weight throw (56-10, 17.32m) at Iowa Invitational… Outdoor – placed fourth in hammer throw with collegiate-best 197-6 (60.20m) at Sun Angel Classic… that mark ranks eighth all-time at Iowa… placed fifth in hammer throw at Musco Twilight XII (196-1, 59.78m), second at Jim Duncan Invite (192-2, 58.57m), 19th at Drake Relays (189-10, 57.87m), seventh at LSU Invite (185-0, 56.38m) and 38th at NCAA West Regional (182-4, 55.58m)… academic all-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2010 — Indoor – redshirted… Outdoor – placed second in hammer throw with a season-beset 185-11 (56.68m) at Iowa Invite… competed in hammer throw at NCAA West Regional (41st, 177-3, 54.04m)… placed second in hammer at Tiger Track Classic (183-8, 55.99)… placed third in hammer at Lee Calhoun Memorial (171-4, 52.22m)… letterwinner.

High School — two-time Nike All-American, placing sixth in weight throw indoors and fourth in hammer throw outdoors… placed second in shot put (58-0) and sixth in discus (165-8) at state meet senior year… two-time conference shot put champion, earning all-state and all-conference honors twice… team captain as a senior… set school record in shot put (60-4)… other best marks were 178-4 in discus, 218-4 in 12-pound hammer throw, 197-4 in 6-kilogram hammer throw and 67-10 in 25-pound weight throw… lettered four years in track and three in football… named football team captain, earning all-conference honors… academic all-state honorable mention, academic all-conference and National Honor Society member… coached by Larry Williams, Wil Fleming, Ryan Ketchum and Doug Ballard.
