2012 — Indoor – ran collegiate-best 800 metrs at ISU Qualifier (1:53.45)… placed fourth in 800 meters (1:55.02) at Adidas Classic and sixth in 600 meters (1:22.90) at New Year’s Classic… placed ninth in 600 yards (1:12.79) and 13th in 800 meters (1:54.00) at Iowa State Classic… placed sixth in 600 meters at Iowa Invite (1:22.42)… placed 19th in 800 meters at Big Ten Championships (1:56.69)… Outdoor – ran third leg on team-leading 3,200-meter relay at Drake Relays (7:38.15)… that time ranks eighth all-time at Iowa… ran collegiate-best 800 meters at Big Ten Championships (1:53.02), posting 1:53.06 at LSU Invite and 1:53.97 at Tom Botts Invite… letterwinner.

High School — 11-time state qualifier in track, placing second in 800 meters and as part of 3,200-meter relay, third in 400 meters and sixth as part of 1,600-meter relay senior year… team won 2011 Class 3A state title, three district titles and 2011 Hawkeye 10 conference title… five-time conference and seven-time district champion… won conference and district titles in 800 meters as a sophomore, junior and senior… 800-meter champion at 2011 Drake Relays, setting a meet record… set school records in 800 meters (1:55.5) and as anchor leg of 1,600-meter (3:34.0) and 3,200-meter (7:55.9) relays… two-time team captain… earned team Most Valuable Distance Runner award three straight years… received team Harold Peterson Track Award senior year… three-time state qualifier in cross country, earning all-conference honors twice and all-district honors senior year… two-time cross country team captain… four-year starter and letterwinner in baseball, helping team to 2010 Class 3A state title… two-year starter and letterwinner on basketball team… team captain in baseball and basketball… academic all-conference and all-state… National Honor Society and four-year Principal’s honor award recipient… three-year distinguished scholar student, graduating with a 4.01 grade-point average… coached by Mark Starner, Todd Peverill and Brian Albert.
