2024 — Indoor – posted a season-best 65-6 (19.96m) in weight throw at Larry Wieczorek Invite… posted a 65-5 1/2 (19.95m) in weight throw at Black & Gold Invite… Outdoor – second-team All-American, placing 16th in discus at NCAA Championships (186-2, 56.74m)… placed ninth in discus at NCAA West Preliminary with a season-best 191-0 (58.22m)… placed fourth in discus at B1G Championships (190-4, 58.03m)… won discus at Musco Twilight (190-3, 58.00m) and at Jim Duncan Invite (182-3, 55.55m)… letterwinner.

2023 — Indoor – won weight throw with a collegiate-best and team-leading 65-9 3/4 (20.06m) and shot put (57-3 1/2, 17.46m) at Hawkeye Invite… the weight throw mark ranks ninth all-time at Iowa… placed third in shot put with a collegiate-best 57-7 (17.55m) at Larry Wieczorek Invite… Outdoor – won discus with a season-best and team-leading 194-5 (59.27m) at Jim Duncan Invite… placed seventh in discus at B1G Championships (183-7, 55.96m)… placed second in discus (183-2, 55.82m) and posted a season-best 176-7 (53.82m) in hammer throw at Hurricane Invite… letterwinner.

2022 — Indoor – posted season bests in shot put at Razorback Invite (57-2, 17.42m) and weight throw at Meyo Invite (63-10 1/2, 19.47m)… Outdoor – first-team All-American in discus, placing eighth with a collegiate-best and team-leading 195-3 (59.52m) at NCAA Championships… that mark ranks sixth all-time at Iowa… B1G runner-up in discus with a season-best and team-leading 189-1 (57.63m)… placed sixth in discus at NCAA West Preliminary (187-3, 57.09m) and 13th at USATF Championships (186-6, 56.86m)… posted season bests in shot put (57-0 3/4, 17.39m) and hammer throw (161-0, 49.08,) at Baldy Castillo Invite… won discus at Jim Click Shootout (183-11, 56.06m)… letterwinner.

 

2021 — Indoor – posted season-bests in shot put (55-4 1/4, 16.87) at Hawkeye B1G Invite and weight throw (62-5, 19.02m) at Husker Triangular… Outdoor – placed third in discus with a team-leading 189-7 (57.77m) at Wisconsin B1G Invite and posted a collegiate-best 190-6 (58.08) in hammer throw at Billy Hayes Invite… the hammer throw ranks 10th all-time at Iowa… placed third in discus at B1G Championships (186-4, 56.80m)… posted season-best 54-5 1/4 (16.59m) in shot put at B1G Husker Invite… letterwinner.

2020 — Indoor – posted season bests in shot put Black & Gold Invite (52-11 1/2, 16.14m) and weight throw at Texas Tech Shootout (57-11 1/4, 17.66m)… Dean’s list student.

High School — two-time conference champion and state champion in discus… back-to-back team field mvp… set school record in discus (206-1) and shot put (62-11)… 3rd All-Time in the state of Illinois… four-time honor roll student.

Personal — born July 10, 2001… son of Debbie and Doug Johnson… has one sibling, Courtney… finance major.
