2022 — Indoor – posted season bests in 60 meters at Jimmy Grant Invite (6.86), long jump at Alex Wilson Invite (22-9 3/4, 6.95m), and triple jump at Hawkeye Invite (47-6 1/2, 14.49m)… Outdoor – won triple jump with a season-best 49-10 (15.19m) and placed third in long jump (22-5 1/2, 6.84m) at Dr. Tucker Open… the triple jump mark ranks ninth all-time at Iowa… letterwinner.

2021 — Indoor – placed fourth in long jump at B1G Championships with a collegiate-best 24-3 3/4 (7.41m)… posted season bests in 60 meters at Husker Quad (6.95) and triple jump at B1G Championships (46-8 1/4, 14.23m)… Outdoor – posted season bests in long jump at B1G Florida Invite (23-6 3/4, 7.18m) and 100 meters at Fighting Illini B1G Relays (10.91)… letterwinner.

2020 — Indoor – posted season bests in 200 meters (22.60) and long jump (23-4 1/2, 7.12m) at Black & Gold Invite, and triple jump at Tyson Invite (48-8, 14.83m)… Dean’s list student.

High School — two-time All-State and MVP… placed sixth in the 800-meter relay (1:26.63) and third in the triple jump (46-5) at state meet… set school record in the 800-meter relay (1:25.15)…placed third at the AAU Junior Olympics… set Houston meet record in the triple jump (49-5) previously held for 11 years… ranked first nationally for the triple jump.

Personal — born on November 3, 2000… son of Rochelle Cobbs and DeAndre Stapleton… has three siblings, Shenicia, Key’mon, and Deidra… interdepartmental studies (health science-global health) major.
