Ryan Williams Season 2022-23

2023 — Indoor – did not compete… Outdoor – posted a season-best 179-10 (54,82m) in javelin at Jim Duncan Invite… letterwinner.

2022 — competed for Miami University of Ohio… Indoor – did not compete… Outdoor – placed fifth in javelin at MAC Championships (182-2, 55.52m)… posted season bests in javelin at Penn Relays (196-1, 59.76m) and discus at Pacific Coast Invite (148-7, 45.30m).

2021 — competed for Miami University of Ohio… Indoor – did not compete… Outdoor – posted collegiate bests in discus at Bob Harris Open (154-3, 47.03m) and javelin at Big Blue Classic (197-10, 60.31m)… the javelin mark ranks seventh all-time at Miami Ohio… placed sixth in javelin at MAC Championships (180-8, 55.08m).

2019 — competed for Miami University of Ohio… Indoor – did not compete… Outdoor – placed 11th in discus (42.16m/138-4) and javelin (46.31m/151-11) at MAC Championships… posted season bests in discus at RedHawk Invite (141-8, 43.19m) and javelin at Billy Hayes Invite (158-4, 48.27m).

High School — won state discus title senior year, earning first-team all-state honors… placed second in discus and third in javelin at conference meet senior year… his best marks in discus (149-4) and javelin (159-7) rank second all-time in school history… lettered four years in track and two in football … led football team in tackles, sacks, tackles for loss and quarterback hurries as a senior…all-conference honoree in football, earning spot on Connecticut Governor’s Cup all-star team… track coach was Rebecca Osborne… honor roll student and World Language Honor Society member… participated in Best Buddies.

Personal — born August 31, 2000… parents are Rich and SuZanne Williams… has one sibling – Rachel… working toward a Master’s degree in Public Health.
