Isabelle Woody Season 2024-25

High School -- Competed in both track and cross country in the Mississippi Valley Conference under coaches Keaton Rickels and Tonya McDonough… six-time letterwinner… two-time state meet qualifier… 2022 conference and district high jump champion, helping team to district title… placed third in high jump at state track meet junior year (5-4), earning all-state honors… Academic All-State honoree… set school record in high jump and 400-meter hurdles.

Personal -- Parents are Joey and Heather Woody… her brother, Drake, also competes on the Hawkeye track and field team… journalism and mass communication major.

2025 -- Indoor - Did not compete... Outdoor - Ran a collegiate-best 1:09.28 in 400-meter hurdles at Texas Relays. 

2024 -- Indoor – Posted a collegiate-best 3,227 points in pentathlon at Larry Wieczorek Invite… also competed in pentathlon at New Mexico Collegiate Classic (3,175 points), B1G Championships (3,173 points), and Jimmy Grant Invite (3,164 points)… posted collegiate bests in 60-meter hurdles (9.81) at Iowa Open, high jump at Larry Wieczorek Invite (5-5 1/4, 1.66m), and 800 meters at B1G Championships (2:33.31)… Outdoor – Posted collegiate bests in 200 meters (27.99-wind-aided) at USF Alumni Invite, 100-meter hurdles (16.28-wind-aided), and high jump (5-3 1/4, 1.61m) at Jim Click Shootout… Academic All-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2023 -- Competed for UC Santa Barbara… Indoor – Posted collegiate bests in long jump (16-6 1/2, 5.04m) and shot put (35-1 3/4, 10.71m) at NAU Tune Up… Outdoor – Placed fourth in heptathlon with a collegiate-best 4,358 points at Sam Adams Combined Events… threw a collegiate-best 112-8 (34.35m) in javelin at Sam Adams Combined Events.
