Iowa Women's Wrestling 2025 Final Notes

The University of Iowa women's wrestling team finished the 2024-25 season going 19-0 in duals and captured its second straight NCWWC National Championship. The Hawkeyes had three individual national champions and 15 all-Americans. The program had 11 NWCA Scholar All-Americans.

Hawkeyes Crown 3 National Champions, Claim Second Straight Team Title

The University of Iowa women’s wrestling team finished the 2025 National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Tournament with three champions and 15 All-Americans. The Hawkeyes claimed the team title with 201.5 team points.

Hawkeyes Send 10 Wrestlers to National Semifinals

The top-ranked University of Iowa women’s wrestling team had a strong showing on day one of the National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships, sending all 15 athletes into day two. Iowa finished the day with 107.5 team points anad sit in second place, closely behind North Central College who has 111 points.

Hawkeyes to Compete at National Championships

The Iowa women's wrestling team will finish the season this weekend at the NCWWC National Championships in Coralville, Iowa. Competition inside of Xtream Arena will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday and continue into Saturday night.

Hawkeyes Claim Region VII Title, 15 Wrestlers Qualify for Nationals
