2009 as a Junior… Academic all-Big Ten… Played in 29 matches with 26 starts… recorded a career-high 16 kills with a career-best .560 attack percentage vs. Northern Colorado (Sept. 12)… picked up a career-high five digs vs. Iowa State (Sept. 11)… Totaled a career-high six blocks in Iowa’s nationally televised five-set win vs. Wisconsin (Nov. 11).

2008 as a Sophomore… Academic all-Big Ten… played in 31 matches and 98 sets with 24 starts… finished season with team-best .232 attack percentage… second on the team with 95 total blocks (11 solo, 84 assists)… also had 128 kills and 21 digs… tied a career-high with 10 kills at Michigan State (Nov. 28)… set a career-high with a .778 attack percentage vs. Portland (Nov. 19)… set career-highs in solo blocks at Indiana with two (Oct. 31) and block assists vs. Michigan State (Oct. 18)… named to Iowa State Tournament all-tournament team.

2007 as a Freshman… Played in 27 matches with 11 starts… career-high nine kills at Northwestern (Oct. 20)… .400 hitting percentage vs. Ball State (Sept. 15)… recorded six block assists three times… third on the team with 77 total blocks.

High School… Prepvolleyball.com senior all-American in 2006… three-time first team all-state selection, including elite all-state status as a senior… three-time first team all-district and all-conference pick… named captain of the all-tournament team at the Iowa state volleyball tournament… led her high school team to a state title in 2006 and a runner-up finish in 2004… also guided her high school team to three-straight conference titles… holds school record for career kills with 1,154… played for the Iowa Rockets club team since sixth grade.

Personal… Born 6/16/89… parents are Mike and Michelle Kennedy… both mother and father graduated from the University of Iowa… has one brother, Ryan, and one sister, Megan… both siblings attend the University of Iowa… interdepartmental studies major.
