Derek joined the Athletics Development team in November, 2022. In his current role, he handles major gift fundraising and acts as a sport liaison for Iowa Volleyball and Women’s Soccer. Prior to moving into athletics development, Derek worked in Alumni Engagement for the UI. He earned his bachelor’s from Iowa in Health and Sport Studies and is a native of Bellevue, Iowa.
