SET 3 (25-20) | After halftime adjustments for both sides, Iowa and Coastal Carolina appeared evenly matched through the first five points, but the Chanticleers gained the advantage after capitalizing on a couple Hawkeye errors. Iowa closed the gap to trail by only two points at 22-20 to force a Coastal Carolina timeout after Schmidt’s second ace of the night.

SET 4 (25-16) |The Hawkeyes ran out of steam in the fourth set, trailing 3-7 before calling their first timeout. Iowa continued to struggle against the Chanticleers for the duration of the set, falling behind 12-20.
