SEATTLE, Wash. – The University of Iowa women’s tennis team wrapped up its participation in the Husky Invitational on Sunday, competing in both singles and doubles matches.
In doubles, the Iowa duo of Pia Kranholdt and Nikita Vishwase defeated Washington’s Zehra Suko and Sophie Luescher, 6-4.
In singles action, Vishwase faced a tough opponent in Elyse Tse from Washington State, ultimately losing the match, 6-2, 6-4. Kranholdt battled against Hania Abouelsaad but fell short, 6-4, 6-3. Jessica Matthews fell to Martina Puvill, 6-3, 6-1.
