2007 – Represented Iowa at the NCAA Championships in the all-around… scored career highs of 9.85 on vault, 9.875 on bars, 9.825 on beam, 9.9 on floor and 39.25 in the all-around… earned one Big Ten Gymnast of the Week honor… placed first on bars, beam, floor and in the all-around at Minnesota… ranked as high as 29th nationally in the all-around… academic all-Big Ten.

2005 – Scored season highs of 9.775 on bars and 9.825 on beam… tied for third on beam against Illinois-Chicago… competed on bars and beam in every meet… scored 9.825 on beam, 9.775 on bars and 9.6 on vault at Michigan.

High School – Region V Athlete of the Year in 2002… finished seventh in the all-around and first on beam at 2002 Level 10 nationals… placed second in the all-around at 2003 regionals… finished second on floor at 2001 Level 10 nationals… 2004 high school national all-around champion… 2004 Senior Gymnast of the Year… Fremd High School Athlete of the Year and most valuable gymnast… holds high school all-around record with a 39.3… 2004 Illinois state floor champion… floor and beam champion at 2003 state championship… took first in all-around, bars, beam and floor at 2002 state championship… 2001 state champion on vault and beam… Chicago-Tribune athlete of the month… all-Power Bar team… competed for American Academy of Gymnastics in Wheeling, IL and for William Fremd High School… coaches were Leonard Isaacs, Sam Blyumin, Judy Hardwood and Larry Petrillo… National Honor Society member and on honor roll all four years.

Personal – Born 4/27/86… parents are Tom and Regina Burke… aunt, Ann Burke Coughlin, was gymnast for University of Illinois-Chicago… aunt, Melissa Nowak, was a four-time softball all-American for DePaul… uncle, Matt Nowak, played baseball for Southwest Missouri State and was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles… speech pathology major.
