High School Honors -- U.S. Army All-American, ESCC/CCL all-conference and Lineman of the Year, IHSFCA honorable mention all-state honoree, and team captain as a senior... four-year Dean’s List student and Student Council member. Career -- Lettered three years in football at defensive line... also lettered in basketball... recorded 47.5 total tackles, including 16 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks his senior year, helping team to a 9-2 record.
