2023 Honors – – Brett Greenwood Award and Coaches Appreciation Award, special teams… one of nine seniors named to 2023 Player Council… 2023 – – Played in all 14 games, starting at leo/cash position three times… recorded 26 tackles (18 solo, eight assists) including 3.5 tackles for a loss of 7 yards and one QB sack for two yards, one pass break-up, one QB pressure, and one forced fumble on the season… recorded a career-high seven tackles (five solo, two assists), including one for a loss of two yards, in 31-0 loss at Penn State in his first career start… recorded five tackles (three solo, two assists – also career-highs), including half a tackle for a loss of two yards, in 20-13 win at Iowa State… had three tackles (one solo, two assists), including one QB sack for two yards, and one QB pressure in 12-10 loss vs. Minnesota… had three tackles (two solo, one assist) in 13-10 win at Nebraska… had one solo tackle, forced his first career fumble, and had his first career pass break-up in 15-6 win at Wisconsin… letterwinner.
