2024 Honors - - Part of offensive line that was recognized as a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award... Next Man In Award, offense... 2024 - - Played on offensive line in all 13 games, starting in three games, earning his sixth career start... paved the way for offense rushing for 200+ yards in eight games, which is the most since 2015... the team’s 197.2 rushing yards per game ranked third in the Big Ten and 24th nationally, and was the most for the program since 2002... letterwinner.

2023 Honors – – Next Man in Award, offense… 2023 – – Played on the offensive line in 12 games, starting at center at Nebraska… paved the way for 254 rushing yards in 41-10 win over Western Michigan, which was the most recorded by Iowa since 2019… helped team tally 181 rushing yards in 20-14 win over Purdue… helped team to 200 rushing yards in 15-6 win at Wisconsin, which is the program’s most vs. the Badgers since 2008… helped team to 179 rushing yards in 22-0 win over Rutgers… letterwinner.

2022 Honors – – Academic All-Big Ten… 2022 – – Saw action in 12 games, starting two games at left guard… letterwinner.

High School Honors – – Earned first-team all-state, all-conference and all-area honors as a junior and senior… honorable mention all-state as a sophomore… first-team all-conference and all-area as a sophomore… nominated for Player of the Year and Male Athlete of the Year as a senior… academic all-state honoree… Career – – Three-year football letterman as offensive and defensive lineman… team captain as a senior… prep team reached state semifinals as a sophomore and state championship game as a junior and senior, posted a three-year record of 37-4… also lettered in wrestling (4) and baseball (2).

Personal – – Born 7/14/2001… graduate nondepartmental major… earned a bachelor’s degree in sport and recreation management with a focus on coaching and sport instruction… parents are Cyndi and Mike Elsbury… high school coach was Jeff Boyer.
