Keller Chryst is in his second year as a football analyst with the University of Iowa football program.

In 2023, the Hawkeyes won 10 games, including their final four, to capture the Big Ten West Division for the second time in three years. Iowa advanced to another January bowl game (Citrus Bowl) and finished the season ranked No. 24.

Chryst joined the Iowa staff after serving as a graduate assistant coach at Wisconsin for two seasons. In 2021, Chryst worked on the defensive side of the ball with the defensive backs. In 2022, he worked exclusively with the quarterbacks, playing a major role in mentoring Graham Mertz to his best season yet as a Badger.

During his playing career, Chryst played quarterback for four seasons at Stanford, going 11-2 as a starter for the Cardinal before transferring to the University of Tennessee for his fifth year in 2018. Chryst was voted captain by his teammates at Stanford after recovering from a torn ACL at the end of his junior season. He was also named a captain at Tennessee, receiving the team's "My All" award during his time with the Volunteers.

A two-time Pac-12 All-Academic honoree, Chryst graduated from Stanford in 2018 with a B.A. in Science, Technology, and Society. Chryst is a native of Palo Alto, California, where he was a four-star recruit out of Palo Alto High School for the class of 2014.

Keller is the son of longtime NFL coach, Geep Chryst, and the nephew of former Wisconsin head coach, Paul Chryst. His wife's name is Sandy.
