Former Hawkeye offensive lineman, Jack Plumb, is in his second year as an analyst with the University of Iowa football program. He assists with the Hawkeye offensive line.
In his first season on the Hawkeye staff, Plumb and the Hawkeyes won nine games, including a 34-27 triumph over No. 14 Vanderbilt in the ReliaQuest Bowl. Iowa finished the 2025 campaign ranked No. 17 nationally. Plumb assisted the offensive line earn the coveted Joe Moore Award, which is presented to the country’s top collegiate offensive line unit. All five starters started all 13 games, Iowa outrushed its opponents in 10 games, and there were only two accepted holding penalities against the line in 2025.
Also, in 2025, senior center Logan Jones was a unanimous consensus All-American and the recipient of the Rimington Trophy. Senior guard Beau Stephens was a first-team All-American by The Associated Press and USA Today, and a second-team All-American by The Sporting News and The Athletic.
Prior to joining the Hawkeye staff, Plumb served as the offensive quality control coach for the North Dakota State University football program in 2024. The Bison won the Missouri Valley Football Conference championship with a 7-1 record and went 14-2 overall en route to the NCAA Division I FCS national title.
During his five years as a Hawkeye offensive lineman, the Hawkeyes won the 2021Big Ten West Division and won three bowl games (2019 Outback, 2019 Holiday and 2022 Music City).The native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, saw action in 45 career games, including 14 starts at right tackle. Plumb started seven contests as a junior, including the Big Ten Championship Game against second-ranked Michigan.
Plumb graduated from the University of Iowa in December 2022, with a degree in enterprise leadership.
