High School — Three-time all-conference selection… team captain as a senior… selected to the Iowa Senior All-Star Basketball Game as a senior after averaging 12.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists… averaged 10.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists as a junior and 8.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists as a sophomore… played for All-Iowa Attack club team… also was an all-conference baseball player as a center fielder and pitcher… member of the National Honor Society (2023-24)… academic all-state as a senior… high school basketball coach was Steve Bergman.

Personal — Born Jan. 12, 2006, in Iowa City… son of Nathan and Bethany Koch… has two sisters, Emma and Audrey… father, Nathan, played baseball and basketball at the University of Iowa… Audrey played collegiate basketball at Providence College and Emma played collegiate basketball at Dartmouth College… majoring in business.
