2025 -- Indoor - Placed second in 60 meters with a season-best 6.82 at Jimmy Grant Alumni Invite... Outdoor - Ran third leg on team-leading 4x100-meter relay that placed fourth in 39.13 at B1G Championships... that time ranks eighth all-time at Iowa... placed second in 100 meters at Musco Twilight (10.57), running event at B1G Championships (10.59)... Dean’s List student (Fall 2024)... Academic All-Big Ten... letterwinner.

2024 -- Indoor - Placed second in 60 meters with a collegiate-best 6.77 at Larry Wieczorek Invite… placed seventh in 60 meters at B1G Championships (6.78), running a collegiate-best 6.77 in prelims… ran a collegiate-best 6.77 in 60 meters at Jarvis Scott Open… Outdoor – Placed fourth in 100 meters with a collegiate-best 10.54 at Jim Click Shootout… Academic All-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2023 -- Track – Did not compete.

2022 -- Indoor – Won 60 meters at Dutch Holiday Preview (6.88), Dutch Athletic Classic (6.94), and Grinnell Invite (6.94), and 200 meters at Dutch Holiday Preview (22.33) and Dutch Athletic Classic (22.70).

2021 -- Indoor – Placed second in 60 meters with a collegiate-best 6.87 at American Rivers Championships… placed third in 60 meters (6.95) and 200 meters (22.30) at Division III Elite Championships…. won 60 meters at Wartburg Select (6.95), Dutch A-R-C Triangular #1 (6.95), and Dutch A-R-C Triangular #2 (6.95), and 200 meters at Dutch A-R-C Triangular #3 (22.72)… Outdoor – Placed fifth in 100 meters (10.89), seventh in 200 meters (22.43) and sixth as part of 400-meter relay at American Rivers Conference meet… won 100 meters at Dr. Tucker Open (11.12), Central-Nebraska-Wesleyan-Simpson Tri Meet (10.93), Spartan Invite (10.92) and Central Dutch Invite (10.70-w).

 

High School -- State champion in 100 and 200 meters junior year… placed third as a sophomore and fourth as a freshman in 100 meters at state meet… two-time conference champion in 100 and 200 meters, placing second in both events freshman year… track coaches were Brad Travis and Jeremy Bolluyt… two-time all-district wide receiver in football, earning second team all-state honors as a senior… 2020 Bernie Saggau and Iowa Bar Association Citizenship Award winner.

Personal -- Born November 26, 2001… parents are Dave Stein and Ann Stein… siblings are Michael and Mari Stein… dad competed in track at Drake and Mari competed in track at Central College… Michael is a member of the Hawkeye track team… enterprise leadership major.
