2025 -- Indoor - Ran collegiate bests in mile at Iowa Open (4:11.38), 3,000 meters at Hawkeye Invite (8:28.12) and 5,000 meters at Meyo Invite (14:37.91)... Outdoor - Led team in 3,000 meters (8:34.74)... ran collegiate bests in 1,500 meters at Jim Duncan Invite (3:59.48), 3,000 meters at Musco Twilight (8:34.74), and 800 meters (1:57.70) and 5,000 meters (14:57.64) at Mike Fanelli Track Classic... letterwinner... Cross Country - Competed in five of six races... placed seventh in 6,000 meters at Hawkeye Invite with a collegiate-best 18:11.3... that time ranks seventh all-time at Iowa... Iowa’s second finisher at Joe Piane Invite, running a collegiate-best 24:08.7 (8,000 meters)... Iowa’s top finisher at Pre-Nationals, running 25:08.8 (8,000 meters).

2024 -- Cross Country – Competed in all six races... ran season bests  in 6,000 meters at Hawkeye Invite (18:29.9), 8,000 meters at at B1G Preview (24:36.4), and 10,000 meters at NCAA Midwest Regional (31:07.3)... letterwinner.

High School -- Four-time state qualifier in cross country… two-time all-sectional honoree… all-state in track in 2024… competed at the New Balance Nationals, running the mile in 4:17… coached by Howard Harrell, Michael Stewart, Eric Moore, Brad Timmons and Michael Hewitt… National Honor Society member… AP Scholar with Distinction in 2023 and 2024… National Merit Commended in 2024… Venture Crew member.

Personal -- Born August 12, 2005… parents are William and Emily Montgomery… has one sibling, Sean… actuarial science major.
