2026 -- Indoor - Posted a season-best 51-5 (15.67m) in shot put at Jimmy Grant Alumni Invite.

2025 -- Indoor - Posted a collegiate-best 54-11 1/4 (16.74m) in shot put at B1G Championships... Outdoor - Won discus with a collegiate-best 179-7 (54.75m) at Jim Duncan Invite, earning B1G Men’s Co-Freshman of the Week honors... posted a collegiate-best 51-6 1/2 (15.71m) in shot put at Texas State Invite... placed third in discus at Musco Twilight (177-0, 53.96m) and competed in event at B1G Championships (174-4, 53.15m)... President’s List and Dean’s List student (Fall 2024)... Big Ten Distinguished Scholar… Academic All-Big Ten... letterwinner.

2024 -- Track – Did not compete… President’s List student (Spring 2024)… Dean’s List student (Fall 2023, Spring 2024).

 

High School -- Two-time state discus champion… shot put state champion… three-time discus district champion… 2023 Drake Relays discus champion… holds the discus school record set in 2023 (195-1)… coached by Tyler Decker, Janet Thyne, and Bob Oberfoell… all-state basketball player… golfed for three seasons… KWWL Best of Class 2023… National Merit Commended Scholar… AP Scholar with Distinction… 2022-2023 IBCA Academic All-State team… student body president.

Personal -- Born June 3, 2005… parents are TJ and Janet Faley… father TJ played football at Iowa… one sibling – Nick… finance major.
