2025 -- Indoor - Placed third in heptathlon at B1G Championships with a collegiate-best 5,528 points... that total ranks sixth all-time at Iowa... placed seond in 60-meter hurdles (8.18) and third in 60 meters (6.98) and high jump (6-6 3/4, 2.00m) as part of B1G heptathlon... placed fourth in hepathlon at Dr. Rick McGuire Invite (5,408 points), posting collegiate bests in pole vault (14-3 1/4, 4.35m) and long jump (23-3 1/2, 7.10m)... won pentathlon with a season-best and team-leading 3,660 points at Jimmy Grant Alumni Invite... won shot put with a collegiate-best 41-3 1/4 (12.58m), long jump (22-1 3/4, 6.75m), and pole vault (13-1 1/2, 4.00m) as part of Jimmy Grant Alumni Invite pentathlon... posted collegiate bests in shot put (41-3 3/4, 12.59m) and 200 meters (21.90) at Hawkeye Invite.

2024 -- Indoor - Placed sixth in heptathlon with a season-best 5,276 points at B1G Championships... won heptathlon at Larry Wieczorek Invite (5,256 points), earning B1G Men’s Co-Field Event Athlete of the Week honors... won high jump (6-5, 1.96m) and placed second in 60-meter hurdles (8.32), pole vault (13-5 1/4, 4.10m) and 1,000 meters (2:51.50) as part of Larry Wieczorek Invite heptathlon... placed second in pentathlon at Jimmy Grant Invite (3,676 points)... Outdoor - Placed ninth in decathlon at Jim Click Shootout with a collegiate-best 7,085 points... that total ranks seventh all-time at Iowa... posted collegiate bests in 100 meters (10.54-wind-aided), 400 meters (49.60), 1,500 meters (4:56.61), high jump (6-4 3/4, 19.5m), pole vault (13-11 1/4, 4.25m), and javelin (136-10, 41.72m) as part of Jim Click Shootout decathlon... placed fifth in decathlon at B1G Championships (6,967 points), winning 110-meter hurdles (14.46) and posting collegiate-bests in long jump (22-10 1/2, 6.87m) and javelin (137-6, 41.91m)... posted a collegiate bests in discus at USF Alumni Invite (120-11, 36.87m) and 110-meter hurdles at Desert Heat Classic (14.33)... letterwinner.

2023 -- Indoor - Did not compete... Outdoor - Won 100 meters (10.91), placed second in shot put (40-6 3/4 (12.36m), and placed third in high jump (6-4, 1.93m), 110-meter hurdles (14.88) and 400 meters (51.15) as part of USATF U20 decathlon.

High School -- 10-time state track meet qualifier… five-time state track medalist in four different events (110-meter hurdles, high jump, shuttle hurdle relay, 400-meter relay)… helped tea, to fourth and seventh-place finishes at state track meet during his career… set school records in 110-meter hurdles (14.58), and as part of shuttle hurdle relay (59.7/13.5 split) and 400-meter relay (43.51)… coached by Bill Capaldo, Ben Zizis, Grant Rampton, Anthony Capaldo and Tim TeBrink… three-year all-district selection and second team all-state wide receiver in football… competed at the annual Shrine Bowl as a senior and was a Gold Honor Roll.

Personal -- Born June 29, 2004… parents are Chris Capaldo and Brenda Hummel… has two siblings – Andrea and Zach… exercise science major.
