Erin Castle Season 2018-19

2021 Honors – Academic All-Big Ten… named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester. 2021 – Competed in 10 meets, primarily on beam and floor… had a career-best mark on beam, scoring a 9.850 at the Big Ten Championships (3/20)… had a season-best 9.800 on bars at Illinois (1/31) and a 9.825 on floor in tri-meet against Maryland and Minnesota (2/13), helping team break the school floor record.

2020 Honors — Academic All-Big Ten selection. 2020 — Earned a season high 9.875 at Penn State (1/25)… recorded a career high score of 9.850 against West Virginia (3/8)… posted 9.800 three times on beam, a career high score… the final time came against West Virginia (3/8)… finished with a 39.100 in her all-around debut at the Big Five Meet (2/21).

2019 — Recorded a season high 9.775 on vault and 9.825 on floor against Oregon State, North Carolina, and Seattle Pacific on March 15… earned a 9.75 on vault and 9.80 on floor at the Corvallis Regional — Round 1 (4/4/).

2018 — Did not see action

High School — State champion on bars and finished third in all-around in 2017… placed sixth in all-around at regionals in 2017… finished 13th on bars at 2016 Nationals… trained at Triad Gymnastics.

Personal — Born Jan. 14, 1999… daughter of Bill and Kathy Castle… has two sisters, Ellen and Audrey… communication studies major.
