Hannah Cousins Season 2024-25

2024-25 - Posted collegiate bests in 50 free (24.70), 100 back (55.36), and 200 back (2:00.75) at Big Tens… letterwinner.  

High School — First-team all-state as a junior in the 100 backstroke and 100 fly… two-time second-team all-state (100 back and 200 free relay)… three-time all-district… state champion in the 100 backstroke as a junior… runner-up at the state meet in the 100 butterfly as a junior and in the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly as a senior… holds eight school records (50 free, 100 fly, 100 back, 200 free, 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, 400 free relay and 500 free)… placed seventh at the 2022 Future Championships in the 200 back… Winter Junior Nationals qualifier… coached by Brian Heller and Mike Wells… also competed in track and field in high school… three-time honors award winner… all-academic as a freshman and sophomore… National Honors Society officer… Scholastic All-American team member.

Personal — Born June 24, 2006… parents are Heather and Aaron Cousins… mother, Heather, played basketball and threw the javelin at Western Illinois University… has one sister, Madison, who swims at St. Ambrose University… human physiology major.
