2018-19 Honors — Named Iowa’s Big Ten Sportsmanship honoree… Academic All-Big Ten selection… named to the Dean’s List during the fall semesters. 2018-19 — Led the team in the 200 breast (2:17.80), was third in 200 IM (2:07.52), and fourth in 100 breast (1:04.92)… swam a collegiate-best at Big Ten Championships in 200 breast.
2017-18 Honors — Academic All Big Ten. 2017-18 — Swam a season-best in the 200 IM (2:05.75) at the Big Ten Championships.
2016-17 Honors — Academic All-Big Ten. 2016-17 — Swam to season-best times in 200 IM (2:05.12), 400 IM (4:23.88), 500 free (5:12.85), 100 breast (1:06.50), and 200 breast (2:20.49)… led the team in 400 IM and ranked second in 200 IM.
2015-16 — Led the team in the 400 IM and was second in the 200 fly… swam collegiate-best times in 200 free (1:56.45), 500 free (5:10.19), 100 breast (1:06.66), 200 breast (2:19.38), 200 fly (2:04.65), 200 IM (2:04.39), and 400 IM (4:21.19).
High School — All-state honoree as a junior… team MVP as a junior… team captain as a senior… personal best times are 4:19.89 (400-yard IM), 4:58.08 (400-meter IM), 2:17.17 (200-yard breast), and 2:40.65 (200-meter breast)… swam for the Academy Bullets Swim Club Elite… also competed in water polo… member of the J. Kyle Braid Leadership Foundation from 2013-15… recipient of the “Unsung Hero” Award in 2013… high school coach was Andy McWhirter.
Personal — Born July 12, 1997… daughter of Derek and Mary Jacobs… has three younger siblings, Cole, Owen, and Leah… majoring in human physiology.
