Summer Campbell Season 2017-18

2017-18 Honors — Academic All Big Ten… Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. 2017-18 — Swam a collegiate-best time in the 500 free (4:58.70).

2016-17 Honors — Named to the Dean’s List during the fall and spring semesters. 2016-17 — Swam to a season-best time in 100 fly (55.89) and a collegiate-best time in 200 fly (2:03.10)… ranked third on the team in 200 fly.

2015-16 Honors — Named to the UI’s Dean’s List in spring semester… Academic All-Big Ten honoree… Academic All-Big Ten honoree. 2015-16 — Posted career-best times of 5:11.47 in 500 free and 58.99 in 100 back… posted season-best times of 52.90 (100 free), 2:00.66 (200 free), 56.51 (100 fly), and 2:05.88 (200 fly)… won the 500 free in the dual against Western Illinois (2/5).

2014-15 Honors — Dean’s List honoree during fall semester… letterwinner. 2014-15 — Swam collegiate-best times in the 50 free (24.13), 100 free (51.98), 200 free (1:57.34), 100 fly (55.75), 200 fly, and 200 IM (2:07.42).

High School — Two-time All-American in 100 fly (junior and senior)… two-time all-state, all-region and all-district honoree 100 fly and 100 back… was district and regional Swimmer of the Meet… was all-district and all-region in both events as sophomore… also earned all-state honors in 100 fly… team captain as a senior… two-time academic all-state selection… top times, 100-fly (54.65), 200-fly (2:03.60), 100 back (57.14), 200-back (2:04.5), 100-free (51.40), 50-free (24.36), 200-free (1:55.75)… holds school records in 100-fly (54.65) and 100-back (57.14)… head coach was Marshall Campbell.

Personal — Born May 3, 1996… daughter of Marshall and Patricia Campbell… has three siblings, Hogan, Janel, and Sebastian… parents swam at the University of Oklahoma… industrial engineering major.
