2020-21 Honors – Academic All-Big Ten. 2020-21 – Swam collegiate best in 500 free (4:47.58) at Big Ten Championships… also had a collegiate-best in 1,000 free (10:10.12)… had a season-best time in 100 free (50.97) and 200 free (1:48.03)… led the team in the 200 free, was second in 500 free and 1,000 free and third in 100 free… member of team-leading 200-free, 400-free and 800-free relays… scored in five events at the Big Ten Championships… member of the eighth-place 200-free relay (1:31.10), ninth-place 800-free relay (7:15.89), and 10th-place 400-free relay (1:48.03)… also was 17th in 200 free (1:48.03) and 22nd in 500 free (4:50.84).
2019-20 — Posted an NCAA provisional qualifying time as a member of the school-record-setting 800-free relay (7:04.70)… ranked third on the team in the 100 free (50.33), 200 free (1:47.89), 500 free (4:50.74), and 1,000 free (10:20.75)… also recorded a collegiate-best in the 50 free (24.13)… scored in three events at the Big Ten Championships… placed fourth as a member of the 800-free relay (7:04.70), was 10th in 400-free relay (3:20.35), and was 21st in 200 free (1:47.91).
High School — Four-time All-American — 100 and 200 free as junior; 100 and 200 free as a senior… five-time all-state honoree… three-time MVP… named the Bloomington High School Athlete of the Year in 2019… placed fifth at the Illinois State Championship in 200 free in 2017 and 2018 and 11th in 100 free both years… placed 12th in 200 free at state meet as sophomore… three-time conference champion in 200 free and once in 100 free… school record holder in 50 free (24.01), 200-free relay (1:38.72), and 400-free relay (3:34.67)… National Honors Society member all four years… IHSA Scholar Athlete as junior and senior… was class Valedictorian… member of Spanish Club, IHSA Student-Athlete Leadership Group, and Rotary Club… high school coaches were Bob Loy and Jen Godlewski.
Personal — Born Sept. 8, 2000… daughter of Monte and Jillyn Rink… has two younger siblings, Nolan and Sam… majoring in human physiology.
