High School — State champion in the 800 meters as a junior… three-time state runner-up in the 4x800-meter relay… earned elite all-state honors in the 800 meters, 4x800-meter relay, sprint medley relay and distance medley relay… conference champion in the 400 meters and sprint medley relay… holds school records in the 400 (56.14), 800 (2:11.48), 4x400 (3:52.58), 4x800 (9:03.39), sprint medley (1:45.94) and distance medley (4:03.51)… also lettered in soccer… coached by Patrick Hennes and Chris Siewert… four-time academic honoree in track and cross country and two-time academic honoree in soccer… participated in Silver Cord and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
