Fionna Fallon Season 2008-09

2010 — Indoor – did not compete… Outdoor – ran a personal best 36:35.95 in the 10,000 meters at the Big Ten Championships… ran a season best 4:54.80 in the 1,500 meters at the Iowa Invitational… ran a season best 10:24.81 in the 3,000 meters at CCU Shamrock.

2009 — Track – did not compete… Cross Country – placed ninth at Hawkeye Invite with a collegiate-best 3,000 meters (10:44)… also placed 57th at Wisconsin Adidas Invite (18:13)… team earned USTFCCCA all-academic honors… academic all-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2008 — Indoor – ran collegiate-best mile (5:15.51) at Iowa Open and 5,000 meters (17:54.33) at Meyo Invite… placed 24th in 3,000 meters (10:21.95) at Big Ten Championships… Outdoor – ran collegiate-best 1,500 meters (4:49.54) at Auburn Classic and 3,000 meters (10:16.76) at Iowa Invite… placed 12th in 10,000 meters (38:55.95) at Drake Relays… letterwinner… Cross Country – ran collegiate-best 5,000 meters (17:39) at Auburn Invite and 6,000 meters (22:21) at NCAA Midwest Regional, and season-best 3,000 meters (11:07) at Iowa Invite… also competed at NCAA Pre-Nationals (22:24) and NCAA Championships (22:30)… academic all-Big Ten… team earned USTFCCCA all-academic honors… letterwinner.

2007 — Track – redshirted indoor track season at Portland State University… ran 10:45 in 3,000 meters and 18:10 in 5,000 meters at Willamette Invite during outdoor season… best 1,500-meter time was 4:59… Cross Country – led team with ninth-place finish at Early Bird Invite (24:26-6,000 meters)… placed 41st (15:38-4,000 meters) at Hawkeye Invite… team earned USTFCCCA all-academic honors.

High School — three-time state cross country qualifier… best cross country 4,000-meter time was 15:20… three-time Drake Relays and two-time state track meet competitor… ran best 3,000 meters (10:37) at Lincoln Invite… four-time all-conference in cross country and two time in track…two-time all-state and three-time all-district… ran on school-record setting 3,200-meter relay (9:36)… other best times were 4:55 in 1,500 meters, 10:37 in 3,000 meters, 15:20 in 4,000 meters, 18:10 in 5,000 meters and 24:26 in 6,000 meters… also played soccer for two years… graduated in top 15 percent of class… “A” and “B” honor roll student… coached by Jacob Kaemmer.
