2012 — Indoor – placed fourth in 500 meters (1:16.14) at New Year’s Classic… also ran 400 meters at Razorback Invite (57.05), Adidas Classic (58.03) and Iowa State Classic (58.57)… Outdoor – placed seventh in 400 meters at Musco Twilight XIII (57.55), eighth at Tom Botts Invite (57.15) and ran 57.28 at Big Ten Championships… academic All-Big Ten.

2011 — Indoor – ran collegiate-best 400 meters (56.75) at Big Ten Championships… also ran 400 meters at Jack Johnson Classic (58.00), Iowa State Classic (58.21) and Razorback Invite (58.42)… Outdoor – ran collegiate-best 200 meters (25.73) and season-best 400 meters (57.50) at LSU Invite… ran second leg on team-leading distance medley relay that placed seventh at Drake Relays in 11:43.65… that time ranks 10th all-time at Iowa… academic all-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2010 — Indoor – anchored team-leading 1,600-meter relay (3:44.29) at Iowa State Classic, which ranks ninth all-time at Iowa… ran season-best 400 meters at Iowa State Classic (58.18)… Outdoor – ran collegiate-best 400 meters at the Sun Angel Classic (56.81)… ran collegiate-best 400-meter hurdles with a fourth-place finish at Musco Twilight XI (1:03.38)… won 400-meter hurdles at Central Invite (1:04.69)… placed fourth in 400-meter hurdles at Iowa Invitational (1:04.50)… ran second-leg on second-place 1,600-meter relay team at Musco Twilight XI (3:45.11)… letterwinner.

2009 — Indoor – did not compete… Outdoor – ran season-best 400 meters (58.99) at Tiger Track Classic and 400-meter hurdles (1:07.42) at Lee Calhoun Memorial… academic all-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2008 — Track – redshirted.

High School – ran on three state champion cross country teams and one state champion track team… ran on state runner-up distance medley relay senior year… ran on two conference champion track and cross country teams… four-time Drake Relays qualifier… best times were 59.70 in 400 meters and 2:28 in 800 meters… coaches were Tom Mittman and Terry Coleman… also played basketball and was a member of high school dance team.

Personal — born August 1, 1989… daughter of Fred and Susan Mims… father played basketball and baseball at Iowa, played baseball for the Houston Astros and is one of Iowa[apos]s Associate Athletics Directors… mother ran track and cross country at Iowa… her brother, Jeremy, runs track for Nike, her brother, Corey, ran track at the University of Kansas and her sister, Monica, was a four-year track letterwinner at Iowa… leisure studies (graduate school) major.
