2012 — Track – redshirted… placed second in 5,000 meters (17:00.95) at Musco Twilight XIII while competing unattached… Cross Country – Iowa[apos]s top finisher in two races, winning Bradley Open (3 miles-16:44) and placing 17th at Toledo Bubble Buster (4,000 meters-13:41) with collegiate-best times… the 4,000-meter time ranks second all-time at Iowa.
2011 — Cross Country – earned all-region honors with 17th-place finish (21:32) at NCAA Midwest Regional… placed 40th at Big Ten Championships (21:13)… led team at Loyola Lakefront Invite, placing third with a collegiate-best 5,000 meters (17:29)… placed 47th at Wisconsin Adidias Invite with a collegiate-best 6,000 meters (20:54)… that time ranks ninth all-time at Iowa… team earned USTFCCCA all-academic honors… letterwinner.
High School — set state all-time three-mile record on historic Detweiller Cross Country Course in 2010 (16:22.00)… placed 12th at the Footlocker National Cross Country Championships… set new state records in indoor 1,600 (4:51.00) and 3,200 meters (10:15.00), and at the Prep Top Times meet.
Personal — graduated first in her class of 278… daughter of David and Deborah Beattie… health and human physiology major.
