Amber Decker Season 2016-17

2018 — Indoor – ran season bests in 600 meters (1:36.37) at Wieczorek Invite and 800 meters (2:16.96) at Alex Wilson Invite.

2017 — Indoor – ran 800 meters at Iowa State Classic (2:13.29), Black & Gold Premier (2:13.55) and Big Ten Championships (2:15.33)… placed third in 600 meters at Border Battle (1:37.23) and Iowa Open (1:36.68), and fourth at Hawkeye Invite (1:36.32)… Outdoor – ran on team-leading 3,200-meter relay (8:56.21) at Florida Relays… placed sixth in 600 meters at Musco Twilight (1:39.87) while competing unattached… Dean’s List student… letterwinner… Cross Country – competed at Hawkeye Invite (17:08.3-4,000 meters)… academic All=Big Ten.

2016 — Cross Country – competed at Hawkeye Invite (12:02.0-3,000 meters).

High School — five-time all-state, seven-time all-conference and five-time-district champion in cross country and track… three-time state champion in track… conference cross country athlete of the year as a sophomore… set school records as part of 800-meter, 1,600-meter, 3,200-meter, sprint medley and distance medley relays… four-time Drake Relays qualifier… lettered twice in softball… three-year honors student, earning distinction honors as a senior… named distinguished student in science and math.
