Gillian Urycki Season 2016-17

2020 — Indoor – competed in high jump at Rod McCravy Memorial (5-5 1/4, 1.66m), Meyo Invite (5-5, 1.65m), Jimmy Grant Invite (5-5, 1.65m), and Hawkeye Invite (5-5, 1.65m).

2019 — Indoor – competed in high jump at Iowa State Classic (5-5 1/4, 1.66m) and Larry Wieczorek Invite (5-5, 1.65m)… Outdoor – competed in high jump at Mt. SAC Relays (5-7, 1.70m), Baldy Castillo Invite (5-5, 1.65m), and B1G Championships (5-5, 1.65m)… letterwinner.

2018 — Indoor – placed seventh in high jump with a team-leading and collegiate-best 5-8 3/4 (1.75m) at Big Ten Championships… that mark ranks seventh all-time at Iowa… placed fourth in high jump at ISU Classic (5-8 1/2, 1.74m)…  posted collegiate-best long jump at Black & Gold Premier (18-5, 5.61m)… Outdoor – placed sixth in high jump with a collegiate-best and team-leading 5-9 1/4 (1.76m) at Big Ten Championships… that mark ranks sixth all-time at Iowa… placed second in high jump at Musco Twilight (5-7, 1.70m), ninth at Florida Relays (5-7, 1.70m) and competed in event at Long Beach Invite (5-7, 1.70m)… ran 200 meters (26.55) at Willie Williams Classic… letterwinner.

2017 — Indoor – placed fourth in long jump at Border Battle (17-9 3/4, 5.43m)… placed 10th in high jump at Big Ten Championships (5-7 1/4, 1.71m) and fourth at Tyson Invite (5-7, 1.70m)… Outdoor – placed 10th in high jump at Big Ten Championships (5-7, 1.70m) and third at Jim Click Shootout (5-7, 1.70m)… competed in long jump at Jim Click Shootout (18-1 1/2, 5.52m), Baldy Castillo Invite (18-0 3/4, 5.51m) and Musco Twilight (17-10 1/4, 5.44m)… letterwinner.

High School — four-time all-conference, all-state and team MVP… state champion in 2016… set school record in high jump.

Personal — born March 4, 1998… son of Denise and Paul Urycki… has one sibling, Cal who competes in track and field at Southern Illinois University… exercise science major.
