2017 — Indoor – did not compete… Dean’s List student… Cross Country – ran collegiate bests at Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite (18:57.4-5,000 meters) and NCAA Regional (21:43.86-6,000 meters)… academic All-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2016 — Track – did not compete… Cross Country – ran season bests in 3,000 meters at Hawkeye Invitational (10:30.8) and 6,000 meters at Pre-Nationals (21:52.7)… also ran 6,000 meters at NCAA Regional (21:56.8) and Regional Preview (11th-21:57.6)… academic All-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2015 — Cross Country – did not compete… Dean’s List student.

High School — two-time all-state honoree in cross country, placing seventh her senior year… three-time all-conference selection in cross country… three-time team MVP… captain senior season… two-time all-state honoree in track and field (1,600m/6th; 3,200m/9th) junior and senior year… four-time all-conference selection in track and field (1,600m, 3,200m)… 3,200-meter conference champion as a senior… two-time team MVP… captain junior and senior year… school record-holder in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters, three mile, and 3,200-meter relay… named female athlete of the year as a senior.

Personal — born September 17, 1996… daughter of Matt and Cheri Opatrny… has a brother, Jacob… named Highest Honors Graduate and member of the National Honor Society… pre-physical therapy.
