2021 — Indoor – ran collegiate bests in mile at Larry Wieczorek Invite (5:01.25), 3,000 meters at Hawkeye B1G Invite (9:59.12), and 5,000 meters at Husker Triangular (17:24.19)… Dean’s List student… Outdoor – ran collegiate-best 1,500 meters at Billy Hayes Invite (4:39.74) and season-best 5,000 meters at Fighting Illini B1G Relays (17:40.20)… B1G Distinguished Scholar… Academic All-Big Ten… Dean’s List student (Spring 2021)… Cross Country – one of four Hawkeyes to compete in all six season races… posted collegiate bests in 4,000 meters at Hawkeye Invite (14:25.7), 5,000 meters at Dirksen-Greeno Invite (17:56.4), and 6,000 meters at Gans Creek Invite (21:34.0)… Academic All-Big Ten… Dean’s List student (Fall 2021)… letterwinner.

2020 — Indoor – ran collegiate-best 5,000 meters at Meyo Invite (17:51.15)… won mile at Black & Gold Invite (5:03.38)… placed sixth in in 3,000 meters at Larry Wieczorek (10:10.08) and second at Hawkeye Invite (10:10.25)… Dean’s list student… Cross Country – Iowa’s top finisher at B1G Championships, placing 50th in 21:52.2 (6,000 meters)… B1G Distinguished Scholar… Academic All-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2019 — Indoor – placed fifth in 3000 meters at Hawkeye Invite (10:25.85)… Outdoor – did not compete… Cross Country – posted season bests at Hawkeye Invite (15:48.2-4,000 meters), Woody Greeno Invite (18:48.4-5,000 meters), and B1G Championships (23:03.4-6,000 meters)… also competed unattached at Notre Dame Invite (18:17.41-5,000 meters) and Pre-Nationals (22:48.8-6,000 meters)… Dean’s List student… letterwinner.

2018 — Indoor – placed second in 3,000 meters at Jack Jennett Open (10:35.65)… Outdoor – ran personal best 5,000 meters in the at Gibson Invite (18:32.22)… placed second in 3,000-meter steeplechase at Tom Botts Invite (11:54.57) and third at Wisconsin Twilight (11:57.01)… Cross Country – placed fourth in three miles. at Bradley Intercollegiate Championships (17:18.9).

2017 — Cross Country – placed 20th overall at her first collegiate event, clocking a time of 14:47.7 at the Hawkeye Invite… that 4,000-meter time ranks the sixth-fastest at UNI… placed 18th at Mayflower Day Open (23:26.7-6,000 meters).

High School — conference cross country athlete of the year… two-time first team all-conference honoree… placed fourth at state cross country meet… two-time team MVP… National Honor Society member.

Personal — born March 19, 1999… daughter of Greg and Kathy Skopec… has three siblings, Tysen, Jessie and Emmie… management major… sister, Emmie, runs at Kansas… sister, Jessie, runs at South Dakota… brother, Tysen, runs at Wartburg College… father, Greg, ran track at UNI (1980-84).
