Hannah Schilb Season 2019-20

2020 — Indoor – placed fifth in triple jump with a team-leading 40-1 1/4 (12.22m) at B1G Championships… also competed in triple jump at Black & Gold Invite (38-7 3/4, 11.78m), Larry Wieczorek Invite (38-7 1/2, 11.77m) and Sevigne Husker Invite (37-6, 11.43m).

2019 — Indoor – placed fifth in triple jump at B1G Championships with a collegiate-best 40-7 (12.37m)… that mark ranks seventh all-time at Iowa… won triple jump at Jimmy Grant Invite (39-8 1/2, 12.10m)… ran 60 meters at Hawkeye Invite (8.06), posting a collegiate-best 7.94 in the prelims… Outdoor – competed in 200 meters (26.86) and long jump (16-8 3/4, 5.10m) at Baldy Castillo Invite… competed in triple jump at Beach Invite (39-10, 12.14m) and B1G Championships (39-3 3/4, 11.98m)… letterwinner.

2018 — Indoor – posted season bests in triple jump at Black & Gold Premier (38-8 3/4, 11.80m) and long jump at Hawkeye Invite (17-9 3/4, 5.43m)… Outdoor – placed 14th in triple jump at Big Ten Championships (39-1 3/4, 11.93m) and second at Musco Twilight (38-8 1/4, 11.79m)… letterwinner.

2017 — Indoor – placed fifth in triple jump at Black & Gold Premier (39-5 3/4, 12.03m)… placed 10th in triple jump at Tyson Invite (39-2 1/2, 11.95m) and 16th at Big Ten Championships (38-7 1/2, 11.77m)… placed third in triple jump (38-7 3/4, 11.78m) and seventh in long jump (17-7 1/2, 5.37m) at Larry Wieczorek Invite… Outdoor – placed 11th in triple jump with a collegiate-best 40-6 (12.34m) at Big Ten Championships… that mark ranks ninth all-time at Iowa… placed fourth in triple jump (38-0 1/4, 11.59m) and sixth in long jump (17-8 3/4, 5.40m) at Jim Click Shootout… competed in 100 meters (13.25), 200 meters (27.49) and long jump (16-10 3/4, 5.15m) at Baldy Castillo Invite… letterwinner.

High School — four-time all-conference, four-time team MVP, four-time state qualifier in the triple jump placing fourth at the state meet senior year… three-time state qualifier in the long jump placing third at the state meet her senior year… named Athlete of the Month and Athlete of the Year her senior year… set school records for long jump, triple jump, and 300m hurdles.

Personal — born December 3, 1997… daughter of Erika Smith and Josh Schilb… has four siblings; Cullen, Max, Ellis, and Emmett… open major.
