Iowa Item — named a 2021 Rhodes Scholar by the Rhodes Trust and Rhodes Scholarships in Canada… the 22nd Rhodes Scholar in UI history, and just the second female… She has served on Iowa’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, the Big Ten Advisory Committee, and the Presidential Committee on Athletics while being the first Student-Athlete Representative in student government.
2021 — Indoor – did not compete… Outdoor – posted a team-leading and season-best 131-9 (40.15m) in javelin at B1G Florida Invite.. named Iowa’s Female Hawkeye of the Year at annual Golden Herky Awards… B1G Distinguished Scholar… Academic All-Big Ten… President’s List (Fall 2020, Spring 2021) and Dean’s List (Fall 2020, Spring 2021) student… letterwinner.
